10/7/2013: Due to unavailibility of the panel members because of the government shutdown, the Tuesday panel on Policy and Budgets has been cancelled. We will instead start Tuesday at 9am with the talk by Prof. Nat Fish, which was originally scheduled for 8am.

10/4/2013, Government Shutdown Impact: As you are aware, the United States government still remains closed. This impacts IEPC 2013 in two main ways. First, the original Gala Dinner location, the Smithsonian Air and Space museum is closed. We have now secured an alternate location in case the government stays closed past Tuesday: the Washington D.C. Marriott located few blocks from GWU. Gen. Charles Bolden is still scheduled to keyonote. Secondly, number of planned conference attendees from NASA Glenn, Marshall, and Goddard, as well as the Aerospace Corporation will not be able to travel. This will likely result in an increased number of papers without available presenters. We will relax the "no podium, no paper" rules for authors unable to present because of the shutdown by including their papers in the proceedings. NASA JPL participation is not affected by the shutdown.

8/18/2013: The preliminary technical program has been posted.

6/16/2013: Due to extension of the deadline for Abstract submission, the technical committee is still working on reviewing abstracts. Authors will be notified about the paper acceptance by July 1.

Information about student travel grants is now available.

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to May 27th, 2013, 11:59pm ET. Please submit your abstract by this date as this is a hard deadline.
